O2 Sendor Resets ECU???

Hey guys,

 

Just about to replace my left bank o2 sensor, but does the ecu need manually resetting or will it adjust to a working sensor??

    i think you disconnect the battery for 30 mins re connect and let the ecu reset itself again, let it idle for a while.. to reset the levels..

     

    but.. thats a big.. i think..

    Best to reset it whilst you're working on replacing the sensor. That way you are sure the ECU is starting with a clean slate (so to speak ...)
