We had a great meet today at GPS,13Zs in all colours and kits,Duffman Muffman with his vid running Poor Tooley has to make a sharp exit as he had the shits .The green pepper and the red tomato could not get it on as it was pissing down ,Next time Ginger!So come on Duff Muff get the vid on here so we all can see it,Watch out for Tooley who had a close shave with a BT box .

it was also amusing looking at the faces of people in cars from opposing traffic, most of them looking at our cars (13 of them in a cue rumbling and looking nice) like if they never seen a car before!!eh eh ehe

 

 

I had a great welcome since as many as 3/4 Zeds came to pick me and my car up from the Shell Station....

ho well I never seen so many Zeds together myself

 

 

and best of all I had the honor to drive behind Mac1's Zed... he surely has the bast arse I have ever seen... !!!

Nice to meet you all at last.

The car park antics were cool.

I was sure someone was going to take out that lamp post.

Had fun until I noticed my auto box was stuck in 3rd+Overdrive with car not pulling away below 4000 revs! Dropping to 2nd gave me 3rd gear and first gave second! Drove all the way back to Leeds in 3rd. Luckily after stopping for 5 mins and switching everything off the auto box gave an error code and started working again...

These things don't like donuts!

My exhaust must have been the loudest there as a result of 2 huge holes in the pipe after the cat section!

Cracking day (apart from the reds getting beaten). Good to see all the familiar & not-so-familiar faces & zeds.

It was a great sight cruising in a convoy with a dozen other Z's- I think there are a few twisted neck muscles in Leigh, after all the 'rubber-necking' I saw.

Was a laugh having my first attempt at a donut- bit scarey with all those lamp posts in the car park.

Best bit was seeing all my body kit in boxes at Johnny's garage, can't wait to get it done!

One of the best days out I've ever had, me Mrs. wants one now and I ain't talkin' a Johnny portion either! ROFLMFAO

 

What a buzz, 13 odd Z's in convoy to the pub and it was AWESOME!

 

I agree with the above, we all got stuck at a round-a-bout at one point and I was at the back end(me having the slowest and serious) and this guy with his Mrs comes screaming up in a Mondeo thinking that we were pulled over and stops dead next to my car seeing the q in front of Z monsters. His Mrs laughs, he stops and waves me on! Top banana!

 

Arrived at Johnnies and spotted the Duffer straight away with can of Stella, armed and dangerous. Nice to see Marks car(Fingerpig) all Stillened up and looking the bollox to be honest. Shame he had to bugger off back to sort his house out! LOL

 

What can I say? Tooley is the absolute master, Mr Miyagi, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris(ROFL) of the art of sliding! Much amusement was had in the pub watching replays of the man at work coming outta J boys road in absolute poetry of sliding technique absolute. Even the girlies were most impressed! Tooley mate, you are a GOD without question.

 

Iains car stole the day big time, fuck me that car is nothing short of "fuckin' A!" That Z is well sorted and to be honest it's gonna get a twin in the near future. I gotta do the Macca thing.

 

Then the finale, what a crack up! You southerners might ramble on about your wiper blade dimensions and yer voltage for yer electric mirrors being different from a UK spec to a Jap spec...but these Northern posse boys know how to do it big stylee and provide the entertainment.

 

Went to Asda car park and lined it up! Doughnuts were afoot and although I'd had about five pints and the Mrs. Turbo driving I declined! But hey, the boys did the biz big time! Rob scared the arse off me Mrs and Johnny gave me more value for money than fucking Nemisis at Alton Towers!!! Hey I taped it...goes like this...

What a great day, being trying to share it with anyone that'll listen.

 

Especialy enjoyed the ASDA experience, guess it wasn't bad for the spectators attracted by the smell of burning rubber.

 

Some very nice cars out there, feel quite priveleged to see MAC1s in the flesh.

 

Judging by the antics I think that the roads would be a whole lot safer if we can all make it to the airfield day.

Do you really think we care what any onlookers think. The Z is a drivers car, not for towing bleeding caravans .

If you want to see some real driving and some proper 170+ action then come to a Northern Z meet.

Otherwise stick to the Morris Minor forum.
