Cruise control

After fitting an aftermarket boss & wheel I removed the cruise control button assembly and kept it.

 

It has 3 wires, Yellow, white and green.

 

I have since rejoined (I Had to cut the green and white wires to remove the HICAS disc assembly), the green to green, white to white, and tried putting yellow to earth (I think thats where its meant to go).

 

My cruise doesnt work ?? :(

 

Have I missed something?
