The red steenbras is one of southern Africa's great angling fishes, but its abundance has been drastically reduced in the past 3 decades.

 

 

 

The Red Steenbras is found from False Bay to just beyond Durban, but stocks of this species are so low that it is hardly ever caught.

try catching a tiger fish in south africa , its cross between a pike and jaws but the jaws smaller , just about !!!
