go out this afternoon and some kind Police officer has put a fixed penalty notice on me zed :headvswal

£30 fine nothing you can do about it just pay

 

all it has on is my registration number

no address or anything else

 

offence code D110

front registration mark obscured (in windscreen)

 

he could have just knocked on the door and said put it on FFS

Tell them pig bacon wasters to do one mate!

Take the registration plate and wrap it round his head

What was the problem then? What is a D110?

i put a new bumper on and put the numberplate on the dash so you could still see it

take it all the way to court ....****ers .....probably just a spotty ginger skinny wet behind the ears novice getting his quotta of hand outs and fines ........then find out who it is and keep reporting him for dangerous driving when he is in civies

prob a neighbor complained about you having it parked there, and all they could find wrong was the number plate

its just crazy, the numberplate is visible in the windscreen FFS, and they wonder why the public get p!ssed off at them :rant:

Erm, read the Construction and Use Regs before you take it to court ... no sense in throwing good money after bad ...

Funny you see loads of Trade plate users with the plates in the windsrceen and they dont seem to get any agro. Just wait till they are armed you will get your tyres shot out aswell. :x: :headvswal

£30, not ideal but you take a gamble, win some, lose some. I wouldn't personally go to court over it, take the medicine. At court you would get a means tested fine and costs. You would be looking at £100 straight away.

In some cases its easier just to pay the £30 and have done with it. IMHO

if it goes to court and you lose you'll probably have to pay the court fees and that.

Sounds to me like human resoursec could be channelling their employees energy a little more productively.
