Just wanted to know whether anyone else likes a bit of boom boom...scratch scratch...etc.

I like DJ Hype and am scouring the web for one of his studio albums with no success, it was The Dogs *****cks

Back in the day I never used to like D&B, used to prefer Techno or House sort of stuff but I do like Ronnie Size and most Drum and da Bass stuff nowadays.

Funny how you hated stuff like Take That when they were in their hay day but over time it kinda grows on you and next thing you know you're buying the greatest hits or should I say downloading them for free...I love MP3! :D ;)

i love me drum and bass :hyper: iam a ex raver  i used to be big into happy hardcore but went into house/r+b/+drum+bass

Drum and bass is the macdaddy! Unfortunately maxsunny, your taste in music is ruined by r&b, unfortunately its a load of shit! IMHO ;)

Yeah and I should get it right aswell, Roni Size I think and not Ronnie Barker-Tay heeee heeeeee...schamone! Sorry Roni...f\/ck gotta stop saying 'SORRY' LOL :D

love drum+bass not the dark stuff more liquid chilled tunes listen to fabio on radio 1 every friday we have also got pirate radio station in notts play some really good tunes, im after a track by ADAM F called TRICKSHOT fabio has been playing it for a while tryed everywhere in town with no luck i think its still on white label. also LTJ BUKUM/GOLDIE/RONI SIZE have good tunes prob is most good stuff is on viynl so cant play in car

Yeah fair play to them they keep the vinyl alive and I must admit, CD's, MP3, MD etc. sounds good but it just doesn't sound like vinyl being mashed on a Technics 1210 with a pukka cartridge.

Comparable to seeing a band live!

LTJ Bukem, fookin' 'ell is he still giving it large?

most definitely "giving it large" :D he played brighton on saturday night...

this saturday at concorde 2 - brockie, pendulum, concorde dawn and subfocus!

LTJBukem is my all time fav. Have seen him live 3 times now. Have seen DJHype live twice. AndyC a few times.

Planning on going to 'The End' in London next month to see Bukem live there with MC Conrad.

I'm waiting for Makoto to come back from Japan to do another UK tour. He's awesome and live, is as good as Bukem and Conrad when he has Dizeem with him.

Best night out was 3 years ago when progression sessions was playing at Nexus in Southampton. Bukem/Conrad + Makoto/Dizeem were playing live sets for 4 hours!!! Was awsome!!

I even got my ticket signed. :)

drum and bass = CRAP!!!!

Just because you're into crappy cheese and R&B!

nope not at all drum and bass all sounds the same wont even play it at least r'nb and dance sounds different with every track

Obviously don't know your DnB then. There are lots of different types. Personally, I prefer pregressive funky DnB like LTJBukem. Not the harder stuff.

Instrumental and funky DnB is really cool. Even my Dad who's a devout classical music fan and church goer can listen to that.

4Hero play some instrumental stuff which is really good.

er dnb is a form of dance music...

All RnB sounds the same...ie crap and you sure as hell can't dance to it. One reason I very very very rarely go to your every day type 'town' club.

Propper arena/session nights are always the best. Almost everyone is there for the music, so no drunken brauls and bad music etc.

Can I have a copy please Darren. vinross@ntlworld.com

O shit mit have to dig out all my old rave tapes..! Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Swing, Fantasia etr

O crap that 13 years ago

Helterskelter...been to one of them, had the time of my life! R&B all sounds the same, whether its mainstream or not, its all the same. I'm not being racist, but its all about black people with a shit load of money, no talent and no respect for women or anyone else! All they 'sing', and i use the word in it's broadest sense, about is how poor they were when they were growing up and how hard and rich they are now. I would really really like to jump into the ring with snoop, i seen more meat on a fish finger!

IMHO there are some good r&b tunes, with some good bass lines. Take out the vocals, and remix whats left and you will have some very good tunes! Drum and bass on the other hand is awesome! Progressive funk is good, but the deep deep dark shit is my personal preference. I want my subs to earn their keep :D

Ok the above post was Astrassuck, not miss astrassuck, my mrs has taken over my computer to play a game she bought today, so i am on her laptop and forgot to log in as me. She hats D&B but loves R&B, frankly she has no taste in music! R&B, the sound of music, blues brothers..... the only good music she likes is sinartra!
