want to take mine off clean and polish over winter, can i just take em off and then re fit no probz? or do i need to do anything else? is it just that simple as to take off and re fit. putting the throttle cable back onto the holder?

If you want to do things right you'll need to replace the gaskets ... cheap item from Nissan or possibly even cheaper from MJP.

 

Also, when refitting make sure you check that both butterfly valves open at the same time and by the same amount ... You won't believe how many Zeds I've seen where one butterfly valve is nearly fully open before the other even moves! :shock:

there are a few pipes under the throtle bodies too matey lot of fiddly work there, i cleaned mine without taking them off. just used a screwdriver to hold the throttle bar full open and away u go with the carb cleaner and tooth brush, im sure there is a how too link somwhere not where though!!
