HKS EVC3 Boost controller

Does anybody have an istruction manual or wiling to share their expertise on one of these. Not sure if I am using it to its full potential.

Asked Johnny on his views and he recons I should bin it, I would like to give it a second chance to prove its value before forking out another bundle of cash, therefore your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Should be pretty quick to fit it in another Z that has a boost upgrade in place to test it.

You thought it was faulty didn't you?

How old is it? Might be under some sort of warranty...

Be careful fitting in a car with boost upgrade. The boost upgrade works by fooling the standard setup into thinking there is less boost than there is and therefore making it boost more.

You don't want to fit a boost controller with the bleed valves still in place as the controller can be equally fooled.

But if you're just fitting it to check that's it boost measurement work (rather than it's controlling functions) then I guess there's no harm.

But be careful - could be an expensive test !
