I have a problem with my throttle.

It wants to be either on or off and won't feather. This makes for a jerky ride, especially round town.

Anyone had this and cured it.

I have a code 55 and the engines had loads of new parts such as O2 sensors etc.

Check the syncronisation of the two throttles, sound like you may have one leading the other, check by operating the throttle by hand and observing the throttle stops to see if they move at the same time,if not adjust at the right hand throttle shaft ( this is very, very common) tps setting could be causing a similar problem.

Did you have this problem before the service?

what type of air intake are you using.....aftermarket?? Make sure the MAF is away from any direct airflow which may disrupt the sensor reading.

Also, check the following.....Throttle cable tension, TPS, Ignition Timing, Vacuum Leaks, All connectors are clean & properly seated inparticular, the coolant temperature sensor.

Steve

i get this and if i dissconect the tps while engine is running, leave it for about a minute and connect again the car runs great for about a hundred or so miles then gradually goes back to being jerky

ive tried resetting ecu and throttle bodies are opening at the same time

any ideas

i had this when the breathers sticking out of the cam covers had come out and were jaming against the throttle, very intresting when i overtook a lorry and i was stuck on full throttle!!
