Wish I'd had that this morning :D

glad i did!! :hyper:

You seen the new controllers Paul, rather tasty, have one waiting to go on :)

You guys think you got it bad in this weather in a zed....try a pushbike!

Traction control eh, that must be the option for southern jessies ;) Whats the point in having a powerful car if the back end doesnt try and overtake you/put you in a ditch on every corner :p

southerner here will never buy it as I like a challenge + takes all the fun out of driving

No way - I actually look forward to driving in the wet now! Set it to 15% slip and floor it round a roundabout. No feeling like it  And you can always switch it off altogether ;)

yeah - it is a fookin top mod. make no mistake.

as for being cheating - it enhances performance, if you drive like a twat you will still stack the thing.

just imagine tho, coming out of a corner/bend - foot flat to the floor, no need to ease off the throttle, turbos are still spooled up as traction cuts in, cuts out & boost is still there!! bit like the full throttle shift option! magic!

jock - yup, seen that. looks the mutts but a bit pricy imo for what it does!! (would still have one tho!! :D )

I want....in fact I REALLY wanted it earlier when she got a bit untidy on boost in 3rd gear in a straight line this morning

ICE Bad ! RLTC Good !

wish i had this as i have just scared a full road of shoppers by overtaking a micra then ending up facing the wrong way feck feck feck i looked a proper tw@t :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal it was a dual carriageway aswell no damage to car just my ego and pride

It's true its a great mod, but why is it so fekin dear, huge amount of cash for what it actually is :( Racelogic have a habbit of major inflated prices though :(

lovely bit of kit that new digital controller , does away with the need for laptop and u can adjust the slip lot more precisely

is launch control built in unit or is it optional and can it be used with auto vehicle

http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=511239&postcount=7 ;)

I just had an email from Bernie Hsaio who is the U.S distributor for Raclogic.

He dooesn't say it can't be done but thinks that the revs couldn't be set high enough to build the boost with the torque converter engaging.

If your TC has a 3000rpm stall limit then maybe this would be the minimum.

I don't know anyone has has launch control in their auto so not sure of the practical realities of this...

Just spoke to Racelogic UK - launch will not work in an auto Zed so the option without launch would be the most cost effective route...

Steve, we have to meet up soon as we live so close, or maybe a croydon Z meet.

Konrad

Sounds like a plan - also possible meet at the Grashopper (Westerham) on 11 December. See "Next SE Meet" in SE section ;)
