speed convertors

Is there such a thing as a good speed convertor or is three months the average life of these things. This ones been in for about three months after about a month the speedo needle was occassionally shooting upto 180 and cutting out engine, tonight needle has gone right past 180 and stuck there :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

    try giving luke a bell at zcenter im sure he does them ..the cheapo ones off ebay are crap and burn out after 3 months or so ..........
