Can anyone tell me exactly what the hold button does on the mode selector for a TT auto.

I think its used to get the car to move off in 2nd gear instead of 1st. ie when icy road condition etc. Also some pips use it in traffic to save fuel, but I think it fooks up your gearbox ;)

No thats the power button. The hold button is like wintermode, pulls away in 2nd and changes up much earlier. And if far less likley to kickdown under acceleration.

Did ya get ya hard pipe kit in ok?

Hi M8,

 

Danny at DTA is getting the pipe kit to me this week, theb all will be ok to shove my new chip in ;) just need to make sure the car is running spot on before I shove it in.

 

I will be down in Kent hopefully before xmas, Horsmonden area (outside tonbridge). That will take me down the A1, nearly all the way down the M1 then half way round the M25 then halfway down the A21 :headvswal . Should be a nice run for the z ;)

 

Gonna drop in 2 catch up with my mate and his TVR Tuscan S, we went to Le mans in 2004 in it, hope to take the z in 2006 if I can spare the time.

 

Maybe meet up 4 a :duffer: when Im down in Kent.
