no sorry guys, not my tubs :D but ive got f1,s seem to get a better ride the higher i pump em up so will running 40+ psi do any harm to my springs and shocks

Doubt it mate......

 

.....but it may compromise handling in the wet and lead to excess tyre wear.

 

I run on 17s - 255/40 rear and 235/45 front. I find that pretty close to stock tyre pressures gives a positive steering feel and even tyre wear. Too much pressure will also affect high speed stability, as the pressure will increase once the tyres heat up.

You will just wear out the centre of the tyre faster thats all, oh and bounce a bit

on the handling
