My car is squaling like a stuffed pig and I am guessing it is my alternator belt as it seems to stop after a bit. How easy is it to tighten it? It goes into redline on 25th to get a new one so I just need to get by till then...

Could be any of the three belts really. Distructions are in the maintenance section of the online manual.

You have to jack the car up, remove bottom undertray and then depending on your mechanical ability it is fairly easy, give me a ring if you have a problem!

 

Or I have seen some spray stuff to temporarily improve belt grip when they are slipping, dunno how good it is!

It may also be the viscous fan if it goes away after revving or when it warms up

i did mine last year, the online man is really good, and its quite a easy job, more satisfying if you do it yourself as well!
