Oh Flip

I am recieving returned e-mails constantly now that I am not sending.

It says that the server is returning them for anti virus protection and that I am trying to send executable files.

It looks like I am trying to send everyone in my address book an attatchment which I am not.

Another strange thing is that the body of the message that I am supposed to have sent contains a few lines randomly taken from some college work I have been typing up .

WTF is going on

Had exactly the same thing a few weeks back, started sending emails to people I don't even know. Mine had snippets of reports from work in it. Free virus software at http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.htm

Probably, but that's a bit drastic. Try downloading some free virus s/w and letting it disinfect the disk.

Hi Guyz,

You made find some firewalls actually delete files that are executables just as a matter of course. Nortels firewall here will not let you send .exe files. Away around this is too zip the files and add a password to be able to unzip. This will then send.
