Ok, is there anywhere that have the following for sale in the UK, and what kind of prices do you reckon I should be looking at?:

1. JWT ecus

2. 550 / 555 injectors

3. Greddy SP or B&B Triflo exhausts

4. A decent clutch capable of taking 450bhp, but still feels nice (any thoughts?)

...all required before my car can be driven again (been without the zed for 7 months so far, *sob*)

Also, what pressure does the Z fuel system run at? (in PSI)

Cheers in advance guys n girls

I think this is what Nathan was saying wink.gif

Yep. Thats about it. And if you understand that you'll understand anything ;-)

Simply if you didn't have a regulator the more boost you run the less fuel you would actually get which as we all know would be a Bad Thing. For arguments sake if you ran 43psi boost (2.9bar- yee har) then you would effectively have no fuel going in at all. In reality you would because output at the fuel pump often runs at about 100psi but you get my drift.

I deleted the last few words of your quote because I think it started going a little off-track by then :-)

Cheers

Nathan.

PS. I don't think this thread should be hijacked anymore....

Nice posts Nathan and Muffman,

If you want to increase your understanding on this subject get a book on Liquid Dynamics, I have several at home with a bit of motorsport bias if anyone wants a title recommendation.

Its a basic example of liquid travelling thru a pressure differential.

I will leave it at that without further b.s to reck your heads. The two posts above are very good explanations .

I can just hear Timmy's footsteps as he dashes off to the library for that book on liquid dynamics
