ok.. cheers mate, where you working on a ramp or just on a jack? i have a week off coming up and was hoping to get it sorted then.... i like to do most my own work if pos, but if its that much of a pig i may just get de-cat pipes and leave the down pipes.

There are similar on the UK Ebay...I know nothing about them though some here have fitted them I think.

bonus, some come on guys... if you have fitted one of these yourself i could really do with your advice!

A friend of mine makes custom exhausts and even he has said that doing the front pipes on a ZX TT is a ******* of a job!! Another thing, unless im mistaken, aren't the cats part of the front pipe ??

I know its a bit of crappy advice but de-cat pipes are just a free flow pipe wiv nuts welded in for sensors arnt they ?? I have read before about these not quite mating up and sh*t like that. I know for a fact mine being custom made by Janspeed they are two different lengths so i was just going to go to a custom exhaust place and let them deal wiv all the hassle as for headers i dont think it makes a huge difference to power unless you are running specialist turbos and stuff does it ?? But what do i know ???

Now now mark, no need to get sarcy!!! I was only asking because a lot of cars hav the cats seperate from the front pipe! :-P

Could be copies of the Megan Racing pipes that Chris @ getgreddy sales. There were copies of these on Ebay UK not along ago, and many people had fitment issues with them.

If you dont want to take the risk, then speak to Chris about getting originals.

i think you are probably right there mate, but as they came as a package i was thinking i may as well fit them..... but if its a total dog of a job then i may look for just the de-cat pipes as that is where the power gains are, and she should sound better!
