With more than 340 cars and bikes displayed in stunning style, dating from 1886 to the present day, it is the largest international motor museum in Britain.

 

For those interested in a nostalgic trip down memory lane, the museum offers a host of familiar names such as Austin, MG, and Morris. Whilst for those seeking something more exotic there is a vast array of performance cars, from modern classics such as the Dodge Viper and XJ220, to the more historic Jaguar E Type and AC Cobra.

 

Also on show is a large collection of American cars, including the jewels in the crown of Haynes – the V16 Cadillac, and the million-dollar Duesenberg. For children there is the, 'Ghostbusters' ambulance, the themed play area, and the fabulous play-bus, and many other activities.

If we get 15 people or more :

Adults £5.25

Children £2.50

Concessions £4.25

 

Guided Tourer also available for free, but we need to let them know if we want this beforehand (let me know if you think this would be a nice extra?)

 

Once we have visited the Museum, we can all go for a drink at nearby pub. :duffer:

Dave, I think make that a summer thing. Make a day of it all, pub or even a picknic and the day by the trackside.

We will arrange a Track day anothertime, but I think for this meet we'll settle just for the Museum and Pub. Unless we really do have enough interest for the track.

I am not going to be able to make this one due to work commitments. I need to get a job where working weekends is optional!

Might not be in my zed....depends on the weather though. It'll have its new plate on and maybe sporting new 99spec lights when they arrive.

Screw it even it its just Myself, Legrath and Southwestzmech then its only £50 each - bargain!!!! I WANT THAT ONE!!!!!!

Went back to work today and sods law I gotta work this Sunday.. :rant: They said they can't alter it now as the rotas been done but they have given me next Sunday off instead!!! I said what use is that!!!! Need to start working for myself I think...
