The Main years - R32, R33, R44

R32 - 1989 - 1993

GTS - 2.0 N/A RWD (?)

GTST - 2.0 Single Turbo RWD (220 bhp)

GTR - 2.6 TT Adaptive 4WD (280 bhp+)

R33 - 1993 - 1998

GTS - 2.5 N/A RWD (?)

GTST - 2.5 Single Turbo RWD (250 bhp)

GTR - 2.6 TT 4WD (280bhp+)

R34 - 1998 - 2002

GTT - 2.5 Single Turbo RWD (280 bhp)

GTR - 2.6 TT 4WD (320 bhp)

There were some rarer versions like 4WD Non-turbo's, and Special editions like V-spec's for the GTR's

For £5k you would be looking at either a R32 GTST, or R33 GTST..possible a less than tidy R32 GTR.

If your after a slightly more praticle alternative to the Zed, then the R33 GTST would be most suitable.

Although it is slower, looks like a bodykitted taxi and has the interior out of a Primera :x: ;)

Dont forget the new kid on the block...................................GT-R. R35

Over 50K but look at it. what a car?

that's the old GTR35 prototype...here's the latest and probably final dsign:

Legrath, this has confused me, I presume you mean:

R32 - 1989 - 1993 rather than:

R32 - 1989 - 2003

opps..yes. Corrected thread now.

Something not right about the front end.

Can I just point out the R35 officially won't be a Skyline, it will be called the 'GTR' only. Although it is the spiritual successor.

Strange considering the GTR has only been on the Skylines.....

werent the non-turbo models called the BNR34 or EGR34 or something? they used to float around ebay and probably still do, body-kitted up a bit, but not the true GTR34 that the buyer was after.

The spec is said to be something like a 4litre or 3.7 V8 twinturbo producing around 450bhp from stock.

Going after the Porsche 911 turbo market I think.

From what "Car" Magazine has said it's gonna be using a 3.5 litre Twin Turbo V6 and 400+Bhp from stock (But not the same engine as used in the 350Z!!!) but I bet it's gonna be something completly different when it arrives!!! ;)

I read this off MSN cars.

I bet its a 1.5 cylinder diesel when its finished ;)

How can you have 1.5 cylinders

Actually if you do a bit of digging and I'm pretty sure if this, the GTR was actually a car in it's own right until Nissan brought the rights to the Skyline and then shoved GTR infront of it.

Anyway, here's a nice data sheet for the non GTR Skylines.

Sorry for the hijack but what is the Dark Side?

Asith you have to ask?

The darkside is the part of the moon that is permanently facing away from the sun. the side that good is not present within the force.

Its also a group of members that drive slow black 300zx's.
