I'm having problems with boost on my car. Basically I have a Blitz DSBC boost controller which is set at Ratio:57 Gain:6 Limit:1.10. Now ive also had car checked for boost leaks. Problem is when i floor it im sometimes only getting 0.75-0.85 Bar, plus it fluctuates up and down mid boost, like the valves are opening and closing. Now when fitting the controller i disconnected the origional actuator plugs as per instructions.

 

Does the car still use the origional actuators or would the fluctuating possibly be caused by duff solinoids on the boost controller? Or is it likely to still have boost leaks?

where did you connect the controller's boost sensor hose to ?

 

things to try:

set gain and scramble both to 0.

 

see if this stabilizes the boost.

if so, start increasing the ratio until required boostlevel.

after this slowly increase gain and maybe decrease ratio a few percent.

When you say set scramble to 0 is the the P and L settings?

 

If gain is set to 0 would that give any boost increase?

Yes, make sure scramble is set to P0 and/or C0

 

a lower gain normally results in a slightly lower boost.
