Guys

Can we list here all possible brake upgrades available.

I have finally worked out to do my engine and prop, N/A diff, N/A subframe etc its all gonna cost me about £2k....... ;)

Now, why is it you can go so much done for that amount of money then soon as you want decent brakes, its an astronomical amount!!!!!!! :mac1:

So, possibilities are:

1) Misti Evo caliper with custom bracket...Ebay possibly?

2) R33 GTR (is it the 33? or 32?) kit....is this straight bolt on? I'm thinking not.

3) Pro packages from the likes of Z1 performace £!!!!!!!.....loadsa money....

4) ??

5) ??

350Z is straight bolt on (aside from increasing the caliper carrier mounting bolt hole by a couple of mm)

R34 brembos bud !! slight drilling involved but u can pick up front and rear for around £750 ish thats with pads and disks if ur lucky too !! and at least the r34's have shims with em !!

Smithy is offering those Skyline size DBA Gold discs(better than stock Skyline discs), with Stock caliper spacers and Portefields.

In order of price.

1) Smithys brake upgrade using GTR DBA discs, porterfields and caliper brackets ( just waiting on brackets to come through)

2) GTR set up from the R33 straight bolt on

3) Evo brembo's ( i wonder about their ability)

4) GTR set up from the R34, very minor alteration to fit

5) 350z brembo set up, same as above

6) AP racing 6 pot complete kit around £1,500

7) KAD 6 pot kit, around £1,600

Smithy

3G bigbrake conversion using standard calipers , anodised bells in gold blue red or silver with anodised brackets to match about 500 quid ( dont get the mintex fast road pads though they squeel like a stuck pig !!! )
