 hi i have a 300zx tt manual which is standard at the moment. i was thinking of doing some engine modifications, but dont know where to start and what nto start with. something good but with reasonable price.

also was wondering whether doing around 52 miles for ยฃ20(not booting it) unleaded is normal or not.

that's about 11mpg, so no, not quite right if you weren't booting it.

what would i need to do to sort it out?

mpg problems could be a number of things, but most likely is a failed o2 sensor. As suggested, Ztech in swindon (http://www.ztech.co.uk)is your nearest specialist who can run a Conzult ECU Diagnostics on it for you.

ย

Basic first Modifications :

ย

1) Catback performance exhaust

2) Performance Air Filter (Apexi Induction kit)

3) ECU remap (JWT or speak to John Dixon on this forum)

4) Boost Increase to 13-14psi (Either with Boost jets or Elec Boost controller)

ย

But dont forget Handling and Braking upgrades too.
