Oh man, nice one. Didn't realise you had all that work done to your car. You must have 50 grand's worth of mods on your car. What do you do for a living cos I'm gonna change profession!

Oh man, thats one hell of a list. I've got a couple of questions though:

1) Is your power figure from a dyno or is it theorhetical (sp?). Got dyno sheets that you can post?

2) Do you have all the mods done at Silvia (I know your car is there quite often and that little lot must have taken 25 years to fit!)

3) What NOS system did you go for?

4) What make of injectors did you go for? And did you get 555s first and then they ran out of steam or did you go straight to 750s? Does it cause any idling problems?

5) You wrote "bigger intercoolers". Any more details? I want to get some but I'm worried about lag. What make are yours and do they give big lag? Is it a large centre intercooler or large twins?

6) WTF is a "AP Racing paddle clutch" anyway? Excuse the ignorance but I've got an auto! Never heard of a paddle clutch before

7) Where did you buy your T28s? From UK or abroad because I'm looking at these and they seem a fair bit cheaper in the US.

 

How long have you had the car for btw?

DUNK - Yeah the car deffinetly feels more responsive with the Stillen flywheel on. I was gonna gat mine skimmed until i realised that the difference wasnt gonna b that great. The stillen one aint cheap but its half the weight!, so its worth it.

When are you getting the Nitros & Vernier Pully fitted?

 

Have you got these items but not put them on the car yet?

 

Car still looks great though, nice door speakers what size are the fronts?.

K4$H: I had to skim mine, as it was knackered. Never got to try the car before though (bought car, needed engine rebuild (DOH!) rebuilt it, flywheel looked horrible so I skimmed it).

Yes, as mentioned b4 a few times, the adjustable vernier pulleys along with a few other mods are at home. Pete has seen them and thinks its no point putting them on at the mo until i'm ready for the other mods 2 b fitted, - get it all done, tuned and dynoed in one go n'all that........

Just bear with me mate coz i AM on a mission 2 produce a 600 hp car!.........erm, or 2 own one if u like.

Fair point mate, there's no point sticking one thing on at a time. Do you know when it's all gonna get done?

 

The 200 boys are arranging a top speed day in Woodbridge, this should include 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. It would be interesting to see how your car does.

 

I may be towing my 300 there LOL.

Yeah i do have plans to attend one of these but i dont think i'll make down to this one.

Wanna finish off the car first then check it out. Mods will probably go on around mid this year cos of finance probs. Will get it done sooner if i source the cash else where or manage 2 sell my s14 200sx. Gettin married in Sept mate - need all the cash i get at the mo.

Look forward too seeing the finished article. Congratulations on your wedding, better spend the money on the Z first Wish I had.

Insurance..........well thats another story.

Theres loop holes in every sytem - just hav 2 look closely and think hard enuff 2 find em.

lol, no. Classic car insurance mate. Tracker fitted also brings down the premium. Limited mileage etc etc

 

Tracker did nothing for my premium whatsoever, they said it makes no difference?

And i knwo quite a few people who have it on and it has not done anything for there premiums iteher ?
