Yay, new car and a new challenge!

I got my first squeaking noise coming from the engine bay. It only happens when the clutch is lifted (either through load or sitting idle), if its pushed to the floor no noise. Seems to get faster and louder through the rev range.

I popped the bonnet and had a look to see if I could trace the noise and its coming from the upper left of the engine bay (if you standing infront of the car)

Any ideas or am I doomed before I start!

Thanks

I got this, reckon it's sh1te clutch release bearing

So if I take it to my local clutch garage, is he going to have a clue about it?

Ok, just went out for lunch, started the car with the bonnet up and the door open and there was a horrible grinding noise as it came to life, could this be the clutch again? (I've check the oil just incase) If I put my foot down on the clutch, no noise, lift up, noise....

Definatly sounds like you thrust bearing bud :(

new update, I think the starter motor has gone, as the car just grinds when I turn the key and the engine doesn't turn over.

Only had the car 2 weeks and already its immobile, any suggestion as to where the starter motors is or what could be causing it to fail?

Thanks
