Rear Lights

Does anyone know if you can get Lexus style rear light panels for the Zed? Just trying to decide on body mods and thought these might look quite good if available. Any comments on how you lot think they might look appreciated AND BE HONEST GUYS if you think its a bad move please say so, Cheers Jamie

Don't do it Jamie mate, leave that to the Civic and Corsa brigade! LOL biggrin.gif

Noooooo! That would look crap mate, the lights are too skinny anyway.

Thing is with stuff like that, never gonna be available for a Z unless you get it custom made. People are only gonna start producing them if they know they are going to sell a load (which on something like that is unlikely).

On the same sort of topic, anyone know where to get clear side repeaters?

Cheers Guys glad i asked before making a big cock up, but would also like to know where you get clear side repeaters from too. Anyway Mr Timmy where abouts in wales are you just being nosey as i have family in Bridgend

Hi all,

I was looking at buying a set of ferrari 360 rear lights and putting them on the Z (they're not as expensive as you might think) and was wondering how easy/difficult this would be to do?

cheers,

Brian

Jamie& Jerome I just got some clear side repeaters £19.99 they are very nice,Will dig the number out for you guys wink.gif.

Jamie at the end of the day the choice is up to you,Dont be worried on what other people think, it is your car and you have to drive it.I have modded my Z to the spec that I wanted, and there are people on here that will hate it,but some will like it.Andyp hates red,he was the guy that did the file for my ride section, now can you imagine how many times he filled a bucket with vomit when he was doing it LOL biggrin.gif mod the car the way you want;.cheerZ

biggrin.gif LMFAO biggrin.gif

Oh he hates RED does he? Mr. P kept that well quite didn't he? LOL

I thought that rotten egg smell in his garage was from the vegi chilli and the guiness the night before? All the time it was coming from his chuck-up recepticle...ROFL biggrin.gif

You'll be pleased to know then Q that I'm getting that nastey colour binned as soon as I get round to getting the rest of the body parts sourced! wink.gif

Not going for Milk Tray though like some I could mention! biggrin.gif

It's not that I hate red, it just wouldn't be my first (or second) choice of car colour. OTOH Ducati's should be red (or maybe yellow), but I have had black, red and green ones !

Go yellow Tim, go yellow. Tony's yellow Zed is feckin' beautiful cool.gif

Back on the original subject (for Jamie's benefit), why don't you get someone to mock it up in Photoshop ?

Red wasn't my first choice of colour for the car, either. In fact I swore that I would never have a red car and the Zed was the first non-blue car I had. The only trouble was finding a Zed in decent enough condition that warranted parting with that much money. biggrin.gif As luck would have it, after a mere 9 months a decent one came up...only it was red.

Yellow or Lime like the VR-4 in Fast & Furry Arse will be debated heavily within my inner consc...concsie...fuck it! LOL biggrin.gif Not even gonna try spelling with Ms. Luckitt around I'll get another demerit and I've already got enough for this term already! ROFL biggrin.gif

Just to stay on topic...JAMIE...DON'T DO THE LEXUS THING MY FRIEND!!!

However, I do like the sound of the Ferrari rear light thing, Skylark or new Mondeo lights would do the job I reckon...sorted! wink.gif

I've never owned a red car, an orange one, a few silver ones (great colour - never needs washing), a white one (very 80's) and more than my fair share of blue ones.

Had a few red bikes though, but they were Kawasakis.

Cheers Andy for that idea, so who`s good with photoshop and got nothing to do tonight? By the way just incase someone could do this it would be helpful if it was on a black car, LOL Jamie

Here's my black Zed with stock repeaters:

Ordinarily I wouldn't say anything biggrin.gif but my conscience needs to be assuaged and I'm going to have to correct your spelling of my name....it's Luckett, with an "e". So tongue.gif biggrin.gif. But at least you got the double-t at the end, which most people tend to limit to just 1. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Iain mate, do they still attach in the same way or do they stick on?

Imagine it'd be a bastard to change the bulbs if they stick on
