Ok, I'm trying to conclude a huge decision..

 

I currently have an almost stock 2+2 TT Auto in Red. Have added a blueflame exhaust + Apexi + brembos + porterfields + a few styling bits inside (handbrake, pedals, 1/2 retrim done, stereo etc) + 60k done by Ryan + a couple of external bits like clear repeaters.

 

I am looking to add bodykit, full retrim, engine, rims, respray.

 

But I fancy a manual SWB TT, I would probably pick up a stock one and do the work on it...

 

Do I continue with the 2+2 or go for a shortie??.................

Go shortie or you'll end up like me doing a mnaula conversion and tens of thousands later wanting a shortie in the end :D :slap: :rofl:

Ive had both a 2+2 and my current SWB, as much as i liked the 2+2 it was a bit too soft for me, both of mine are auto, cos at the mo, they need to be, but as soon as i can get a manual conversion done, i will :D

Anything I need to look out for when buying one - how much would you reckon a completely stock one would be with less than 70K - Tweed, not leather.

Also, what would you reckon I should ask for mine?

Is there much difference in the insurance from a 2+2 Auto to a manual Shortie???

Funny that. I was thinking about that not long ago. What with seeing Macca's and Sgt's I thought to myself. The shortie has a nicer look to it. BUT! Then I thought that there is nowt wrong with the 2+2 and it is still a ZED after all. so I have decided to keep the one I have and do what I want to do with it. There isnt that much difference really is there? So I say stick with the one you have and do the work on that. IMO.
