If you're paying a stupidly low price, then the work will be stupidly bad. Good head work takes ages to do and always costs. 'Stage 3' really doesn't mean anything outside of one company's catalogue everyone's stage 3 is different.

If you want the heads done, speak to charlie at CTM, or Dave Baker at Puma race engines.

one thing to watch for is experience with particular engines, tho its not quite so important on forced induction engines, porting & polishing can actually reduce power if not done correctly!

Thanks Paul, well this guy works for Lynx Engineering so he does it for a living.

Agreed 100% I have seen examples of the Legendary "Samuri" heads done by Spike Anderson for 240Zs. Each one a work of art created only by hours of work as well as the required skills and experience.

Follow John's advice or do as I am currently doing and speak to Mark(Topless) at Zen garage on this forum.

Mate I had a serious look into 1 peice and....

The reason it was made as a 2 peice and not a 1 is that if the bloody thing brakes under stress its just a brake. if its a 1 peice it turns into a 4000 rpm buzz saw and its gona cut you in half.

if your gona do 1 peice, carbon, it just dicintigrates.

Hi Mark,

WOW, I think I just shat my pants at the thought of that happening!!! lol

Hmmm, if that risk is evident, why do they make them?
