Usless piece of information for you all... Under English Law, if you hit a deer on the road and kill it, it is illegal to open your boot, insert deer, drive home and feed off venison for a week (which *is* quite tasty, I agree Jezz). BUT, if you are following the person who hit the deer then it is perfectly acceptable to gather up the smeared road kill and take it home to dine.

Unfortunately, you have to spend the meal picking bits of tarmac & car bodywork out of your mouth.. wink.gif

This thread is relevant and not just a bit sick and twisted as I've nearly hit 3 x Deer in the centre of Stevenage!!! WTF is that all about???

I know rarebits and Foxes have moved into Barratt homes and have BMW M3 Hard Tops on the driveway but deer? Just before Crimbo I had to actually emergency stop for a baby one as it casually walked in front of the Kirk as I was going round a round-a-bout! Thought I was trippin' or summat??? biggrin.gif

P.S. What next? Gazelles and Caribu migrating for the summer in the Knebworth Plains??? ROFL biggrin.gif

You know what it's like round my way Tim and we can get herds of the buggers sometimes. They tend to wander across the backroads when you least expect it. A mate of mine nearly hit one of the big fellas, just strode out of the fog towards him with full handlebars and everything ! And he's the one who drives the MR2 turbo !

Incidentally, the picture here is one of a set, the others show in more detail the mess on (and in) the car.

The deer were originally imported by the Duke of Bedford to grace his stately home and unfortunately the first herd escaped - hence why you have so many of them now roaming about the country-side.

I agree girlie but I don't expect to see them doing a weekly shop in Tesco or rolling outta the White Horse and ordering a kebab in Stavros's finest quisine establishment! ROFL biggrin.gif
