Anyone know anywhere in the UK where I can get my block/crank Cryo froze?

You want to get it frozon so you can smash it into little bits.....?? cos that is what would happen if you Cryo'd it :x:

 

Now if it coldness you are looking for to keep the engine colder for draging or strip work then you could look into Dry Ice fella ;)

Cryogenic metal stressing allows the grain in the metal to be re-aligned in a stronger way. It is akin to auto-fretage, which would only be possible in the engine bore.

 

Cryogenicaly freezing teh engine, theen bringing it rapidly op to 500 degrees and then freezing again forces the molecues to rearange. Crogenic engines are reportedly %30 stronger than stock minimum and some increase as much as %60.

 

All major race companies have tehir engines cryogenically treated. As do some engine parts in fighter jets.

 

This is another British Idea thats taken off everywhere else in the world apart from here.

 

In a nutshell. You could safely run a street capable car at 700 and not wory about it going boom.
