My starter motor housing snapped about a month ago, so I phoned Intapart for a price on one, £60+carriage+vat. I managed to glue mine back together until it came apart again today. I phoned Intapart to order the startmer motor and the lady tells me £100+everything, so I told her I was quoted £60+. She askes me to hold on and the manager gets on the phone and tells me the price is now £100. I told him the guys name and tel. ext. who quoted me the original price and the manager tells me it's my word against his and I'm making it up that I phone before.

I know some people have had good service from these people, but I just think the manager has a shit attitude!!

Ps where is the housing broken? if it`s at the fixing point a big study washer can bridge the gap sometimes.

Jesus Christ in a spacesuit are these people trying to alienate the very people who are likely to spend big? (ie Z owners LOL)

I own/run two computer retail outlets and shit me if I spoke to anyone like that I'd sack myself with no severance pay. And Im a miserable bugger in real life too!

I'd fire off a letter to the main man, might not do you any good price wise but so help me if any of my staff were talking to people on the phone like that I'd want to know frown.gif

Tits.

:)

Dont even get me started on this company lol.

I ordered a set of UK spec clocks from them. I stressed about 10 times that they must be UK ones with kph and mph and they even moaned at me for asking so much, then i recieve the clocks and yup you guessed it a set of really shitty jap spec ones with scratches and all. I phoen them back and have not had a result yet. frown.gif

I had this with that Jap Parts in Manc land for Az's window. I phoned up and the foreign gentlemen told me 80+vat. So Az rings up to tell him that I'm going up to collect it and the price has gone up by 20 squid in a few minutes...wankers!!!

Thats one good reason why you should email them. You have a hard copy.

But A1 sent me an email 2 months after I got the dash saying where I pick it up. There is customer support for you.

Yeah Jeff, It's on a fixing point. I think (hoping not)I've done more damage than good by trying to making a bracket, cos as it's worked loose, it's pulled out the bolt from the other side, stripping the thread. When and got some new bolts and am gonna have another go to see if I can bridge that gap.

Cheers
