It relocates the oil filter ? Why ?

I always thought the standard one was in the perfect place for changing at same time as an oil change.

yes iv seen one fitted does it come with 2 long braided hoses? to run direct to the oil cooler?

one i seen had an upgraded oil cooler with 2 braided hoses that ran direct to the oil filter tree, meant to be more reliable in turbo applications especially with upgrades!

as for relocations i dont think there is an application for the 300zx z32

I want to fit under bonnet it can be done .also last filter i took off was mega tight and a pain to get to 1 hour job. this kit cost me £60 brand new on ebay and is good quality trust product.I think i can shift batt over and fitt on inner wing so nobodys seen one under bonnet.

with a oil wrench filter its a 5min job trust me :)

as for relocation of filter to engine bay LOL you remove and refit filter, you then jack car up and drain sump wheres the sense in that :wack: no offence just my view on it

the z block is very strong, but doesnt like running low on oil and being a small sump anyway, risking oil starvation to it just isnt worth it,IMO

It is not worth it, there is not a problem with the stock location of the oil filter and on the sandwich plates I have tested they do not fit the RHD zed, always willing to see what is available out there though, sell your kit to the skyline or 200sx crew!

Still going to fit it as its got 3 sensors tapped into filter housing for oil temp/pressure gauges and its cheaper than and a greddy sandwich plate one of the main reasons for buying it .Easy to fit gauge sensors and remove filter. And it looks nice and stays clean with a greddy filter attached.A lot of race cars use these 1 ease of change 2 on a lowered cars can save engine if filter is hit from underneath.

This looks neat and tidy, would prob look good too with a chrome canister cover(place in USA does them)or the fin type canister cooler cover.
