Accelerator pedal switch?

just noticed this evening when I put the floor mats back in if i press the accel. pedal all the way in theres a little click as if theres a switch in there somewhere. Now i'm right confused because the car had a full MPH convertion when I bought it I assumed it was de-limited. I rarely drive it hard so is it possible it's still restricted? I guess the switch could still be in place even though it has been, but never noticed the switch before.

    think it may be the tps setting mate could be the relay you are hearing but someone who will deffo know will be along shortly

    yea ive got one,think its connected to my wallet coz as it clicks it opens a flap and £20 notes fly out :rolleyes:

    Its used to switch off the A/C at full throttle ;) kickdown is done via the TPS.
