1. Induction Kit

2. Oil cooler upgrade kit

3. BOVs

4. Have boost jets so looking at ECU

5. autobox controller (ALC??)

Personally I would go for the Oil cooler upgrade first, as this will affect reliablity for the Autobox.

then the ECU, depending on how much boost your running, you fueling maps could be off at higher boost levels.

another Q guys...I read somewhere on here that it is a bad idea to have a vented headlight panel with induction kits as they suffer in the wet, is this right? I have a 4 vent panel....

Mines fine mate in either wet or dry conditions.. Running a Blitz SUS air filter too, maybe cause it's a fine metal mesh and not one of the sponge or paper type cones available!

Hi there!

I've been selling A'PEXi's for a couple of years now and induction kits really don't come any better than these! Independent tests have shown that like-for-like the A'PEXi's have the best filtration quality and flow-through rate. Installation is also a doddle once the old airbox is out of the way. I would recommend that you keep the splash guard underneath the filter in place to minimise the risk of the filter element becoming wet. A vented nose panel shouldn't be too much of a problem either provided you have mesh fitted to the gaps.

I'm currently out of stock of the A'PEXi's but new stock will be arriving in about two week's time. Priced at £85 + £5 postage - you can't go wrong!

As for you mods, I would do them in the following order:

oil cooler

ECU Chip and induction kit at the same time (I can do both for you ...)

ALC (£195 from us)

BOV's

You may also want to consider a free flowing exhaust system - like a Mongoose system (currently £485 from us). If you increase the air intake (ie induction kit) then you'll want to free up the exhaust side of the equation as well.

Good luck!

Danny

Hi there

I run my Zed with this nose panel and an Apexi induction kit and have no problems and I've been out in some pretty poor weather

Cheers guys...as always some very good advice...
