Sills

Rear wheel arches

Front crossmember

Front of inner wing

same here exept bubbles on each rear arch bubble on passanger T top last mot told starting to go on passenger seal then again its had 15 years of crappy english weather, jap cars always seem to have less rust better climate

Very bad rust at the join under the driver's and pax doors. Also on the 'skirts' in front of the back wheel. AND a spot of rust on both my targas in exactly the same place. :wack: With the amount of oil that the Zed spits out I'm surprised that it can rust!

hah i was in a light aircraft once that was burning a lot of oil, he said it was a good thing because it stopped bit of the plane seizing up :)

I wasnt happy when we landed after an hour and he pulled the dipstick out to show it below the safety level and just went "hmm doesnt usually burn that much"

Jap spec 14 years old no rust so we need to lobby to use volcanic ash in winter rather than salt like they use in japan.......?

Anyone know the best way to keep it rust free? (real world plz i drive 30k a year and do not want to preserve it in aspic in a michael jackson style oxygen tent)

and where to get it done?

LOL! I work on the Lynx helicopters in the Army. If their engines stop leaking you know something is wrong! However they leak a bit to much! :wack:

Becoming a comon place for cars with side skirts is along the full length of the inner sill due to Targa drainage ports getting blocked off by body shops.

Mine is showing signs on the inner wing under battery tray and front cross member. Both to be replaced this coming winter when its arches are widened.
