when i restored mine there was rust on front and rear sills, inner front wing, inside the rear arches now it is absolutleyt rust free :-)

Just a tiny bit above the NSR wheel arch. Not bad for a 15 year old car, compared to some of the rotboxes I've driven in my time...

mines a uk and i have two patches one on each arch 1 is an inch sqaure (not deep rust though) and one 10mm square but there is no rust on it the paint has just bubbled.

paint has just bubbled - You wish - just give it a good hard poke with a screwdriver -it'll go right through - sorry. Been there done that. Do it sooner rather than later. Also with the rear arch issues watch the inside of the wheel arch where over filled petrol runs out a rain hole inside the filler area - it washes the underseal of and you get rust there too.

Corroding brake pipes, fuel tank brackets, rear wheel arches at the front and around the rear windscreen rubber seal at the bottom corners where the water can collect. Oh yes and underneath the OEM spoiler!

Just remembered, there is some csometc rust on the front wheel arches and around that area in the engine bay.

Rear arches were starting to go before i had it PPS'd

Have no rust on my zed what so ever.... :) I'll stay that way too since I never drive it in the wet nor will it get used in the winter AND I plan on fully waxoiling it next summer. :)

I bought a very very clean example and even the underside is all clean and looks only a few months old.

top panel above the windscreen, 1 inch of rust each side, probably a windscreen out job to do properly, anyone got any suggestions for a good body shop near oxford????

A lot jap imports i looked at befor ebuying mine seemed to have rusted sills!!!!

a tiny bit on the passenger door where the paint is chipped, and under the battery tray a bit. Never driven in the wet and kept in the garage so it wont be getting worse any time soon.

paint bubbling on rear arches (from previous bodge/touch up) - and top of windscreen (same as Kazwilin) drivers side. Think screens gonna have to come out to get it sorted.

part from that - none - touch wood

small patch above windscreen drivers side but nothing major. will be having a good look at her for any more now tho.

i have picked the paint off, all that was behind the paint was water (only just started to bubble) the other side was rusty though so it was a matter of time till this was the same. what i haven't said is the car has had a crap spray job :xxx: which has reacted to the original paint. so its off with the old and on with the new
