My zed seems to have quite a shockingly noticable negative camber. It has been lowered (I don't know how much) on (what seems to be) Munroe Sensatrac shocks.

1. Are they half-way decent shocks? The ride is pretty bone-shaking.

2. Should I be worried about such a noticable camber? I don't know what it should be like if the car is lowered.

3. The wheels are 19" Superlegerras. I have not investigated but it really looks like the offset is wrong. The wheels sit back under the arches much more than my old zed.

Can anyone shed any light for me. It's another area where I am too ignorant. Thanks.

Never heard of them.

Lowering the car will throw out the camber. It should be the same as stock (unless you know what your doing and want to mess around with it to alter handling).

You'll need either a camber adjusting kit (spacers) or adjustable arms to reset it, and take it along to somewhere that does proper Wheel alignment.

I guess it needs seen to then...

Sounds like they might be fairly cheap no-name brands. Has anyone got a recomendation for good springs and shocks then?

Anyone been to Thor? Might they be able to sort me out with something?

Depends on budget. Stock shocks with Eibach springs are actually a good setup. For Adjustablity on budget there is the KYB shocks with Eibachs (very good for the money.)

If your looking to spend a fair bit then I would look into the Tein's.

I'm looking for reasonable setup on a reasonable budget! I will have a look at KYBs with Eibachs. Hopefully Thor will be able to sort me out when the car comes out after painting.

Cheers for your help - gives me something to look into.

I have taken a couple of photos of the wheel camber as best I can. Does this look extreme?

Is it possible that a camber adjusting kit might sort this out? Where would be the best place to get hold of this?

Also, I felt the wheels were sitting too far back in the arches. Is this because the offset is not right, or because the camber is wrong? Any more help on this would be very gratefully recieved.

Hard to tell from a picture but front looks reasonable, the rears have adjustable camber anyway, have a look see what the setting is at the adjuster points.
