Does anyone know if it would be acceptable by mr plod / Law to trim a rear number plate. What I would like to do is trim the 2 smallest sides (vertical) on a standard number plate by about 30mm each side. My car has a private plate on so there would be ample room to do it, due to there only being 5 digits... :duffer:

ย

So does anyone know if this is permissble?

thanks Jon.. :)
