Hi guys,

since one of my rear subframe bushes has split, I am thinking of replacing only the 4 subframe bushes with polyurethane ones.

is it possible to just lower the subframe and change these four bushes or do I have to remove the subframe completely? secondly, what do you guys recommend I use to remove these bushes, some sort of puller maybe?

thanks

darren

I'd like to know too as I have a full poly kit that I want to replace my subframe bushes as I have a knackered one too.

Ive been told that brake lines and axle need removing? is this true?

You will have to drop the whole subframe and get it under a press bit of a mission

You thought about getting those sub-frame spacers? I believe they can take up the slack you get with old bushes - and only take about half hour to fit.

If the bushes arnt to shagged you can use whiteline subframe locking pineapples .Just fitted them to mine my bushes were ok just done it to tighten up the rear.half hour job.Ive removed all four bushes before on a s13 200sx same subframe and its a nightmare \hammer \blowtorch\ chisel \drill .
