Two ways

1. disconnect the Neg, then hold ya brake pedal down for about 30secs to drain the rest of the electic out of the system, then re-connect

2. Disconnect the Bat for about 30 mins:D job done.

Then take ya Zed for a nice long drive for it to reset and get to know the settings again ;) about 50 + mile should do it

Opinions vary on here from 15mins to an hour.

Roughly.

I would think if you disconnected overnight that would do it.

Car's not going anywhere anyhow

Annyone with Conzult near me then?

The ECU still has to learn the settings so just disconnect the battery for an hour.

By the time someone has replied with a Consult the jobs done! LOL

FYI: When disconnecting the negative terminal the fault codes are erased within a 30 minute period. HOWEVER, the ECU will retain the so-called "self learn" values for a considerably longer period of time. These are values such as the air/fuel ratios for each bank, etc. If you disconnect the battery for 30 minutes the fault codes are cleared but not the self learn values which basically means the car "may" still be over/under fueling, etc. Leave the battery disconnected between 1 and 2 hours and all values will be reset and you'll start the car off with a clean slate.

And you're right, using a ConZult you can clear the fault codes and the self learn values with a click of a button!

;)
