After driving cross country on Saturday night using "the force" Obe Wan Kenobe was busy and hence we drove up the grass verge several times when oncoming traffic went by. I have given in and fitted 100W bulbs I read that the wiring melts etc but It's either that or crash so I'm chancing the bulbs and will let you know.

I'm 100 % sure about the following (guess what I have on my Z)

Hi Beam 100W : No problem

Fog 100W : No problem

Low beam...I dunno

Zee you

I new that drive home reminded me of something. ();-)

Tooley. The Atari console is obviously where you have developed your unique style from then. mmmmm?

What happened to NO MORE HEADLIGHT POSTINGS ...

Anyway, Stu know exactly what you mean.

I'ts a case of 'point 'n' shot' driving home at the moment. I cut accross country coming home (West Sussex) so very little ambient light, bloody nightmare.

Do you think that brighter bulbs will make a difference (know that sounds seriously dumb) because the problem looks like the dipped housing itself although looks tric inside the pod is too small.

You guys recommend a supplier for decent driving lights, local places cr*p.

Currently I have only one solution to the crap dipped lights. And that's to drive along with perfect vision using the headlights. They're great and you can see for miles and as an added bonus you get to play a game of Chicken every time you see another car.

I think even the bulbs of my Christmas tree would provide a better form of lighting the road. 8)

Primeras have the small round headlight unit just like the Z but their lights are excelent.

I wonder if you could put the primera unit into a Z headlight assembly.

I was speaking to the guy who services my car and he has been running 100W bulbs in his 300 for ages.

I can honestly say it does make a difference and is definitely worth the £4.99 ea from Halfords.

If you have a Jap import I would be careful as there was a posting earlier about the headlight wires melting.
