funnily enough, i seem to quite like that idea, and it would certainly help towards finding more reliable hardware and connectivity for the server in the future.

 

I had a chat with another member on those lines last year, maybe i ought to pursue it.

 

it's nice that some of you actually think unselfishly about the service that Nico and I have provided equally unselfishly

maybe if we revive this pay to join club idea, then we could go with a members only forum as well, yet another forum to keep up to date with....

i will give it some thought though, maybe i could create a "private forum for people i like, everyone else can use the general forum" forum, that way i know who was on it, i would get none of this shit, and all would be happy in our little world

 

these people piss me off just as much as they do you lot, they are so sad that they enjoy coming here to deliberately wind you up, they really have nothing better to do ?

 

if you knew them in real life, you can guess the type of "billy no mates" hanger on they are.

you would not give them the time of day, so why bother with them on here ?

...just like to say that I really appreciate what you and Nico do for the Z owning community (and all contributors too). I would not be a Z owner if it was not for some positive words from Nico about 18 months ago - and I've found the info on this forum invaluable. I do not contribute much (because after 18 months I'm only scratching the surface of knowledge) but I visit the forum most days to increase my knowledge (cheaper that taking it to Nissan).

 

...so thanks and please keep up the good work - we all depend upon you.

there is no way i would get to the point of intentionally removing the forum or site, at least not permanently...., but i do get to the point of "why do i bother reading it"

 

if the forum ever disappears, it's becuase of technical reasons, so no need to panic over that

 

i just get pissed at the childish behaviour of some of the "adults" on this site.

my own children behave better most of the time, it goes far beyond having a laugh

Aye, indirectly I wouldn't have, here goes, rebuilt my engine, brakes, change my gearbox, fixed my tailgate, fitted my chip, done a FMIC conversion, rebuild practically my entire car, rear subframe next, and it extends beyond that I wouldn't have met loads of like minded people without this server as Craig/Nico let Dave host the 200sx board here too.

 

Yeah there's bitchyness but there always will be difference in opinion especially as there are about 600 active members between the 2 boards but that's life. On the whole non of it really matters and I think the majority realise that.

 

The fact that the server is shared probably means that there is far more communication between the two clubs too, as it's unlikely that as many would have joined each others board without it.

 

Boy it is mighty hard to ignore those arseholes sometimes though, but I think no one raised to porker's bait last time and I think they'll soon get bored if ignored.

The point in question was really a complete piss take to Craig and Nico and I for one (and I know there's more) think it is really not fair to take advantage in such a way...

I think people are focusing on the bad things on this forum too much. Yes it has a few problems, one or two wankers, a few arguments.

There have nearly been 5,500 topics posted here and nearly 40,000 posts. And people are complaining about maybe 1 post a month that goes out of hand.

We are over looking, the hard work made my Craig, to create a forum, where advice and peoples experience, has been pricless.

With out this forum,

Aaron would be car door window less,

I would be door handle less (Andy, money is on its way)

and Glenn would be Z'less.

Not to mention about 20 Z'ers would be traction control-less.

There is so much good come from this place, and in the future I know that it will still be the most useful Z site on this planet. Due to the helpful people who use this site, and Craig for making it.

So stop thinking about the small handfull of things bad things that come from this site, and thank god, or Craig , for the infinate number useful and good things.
