Noticed that the boot that protects the suspension strut has perished on two corners of the car, anyone know if its much of a job and/or much money and time to sort. Is it something that should be sorted straight away or is it minor?

cheers in advance Dave

if its the rear then you need to remove the whole trim from the boot to reach the top struts undo x2 12mm bolts drop shocker strip down and replace cover

front is alot less time consuming undo drop shock strip can be done in about 1hr for both

rear is a couple of hours at the least

For the boot you can use a steering gaiter, available from any friendly motor factor, only cost a couple of quid.

Do they do those universal ones that just kind of glue together in the middle to save you taking the whole strut out? Just a thought.
