first of all hi to everyone.

ive loved the 300ZX for ages, when it was time for me to buy a car i chose a different car instead of the 300 because i was scared of the petrol consumption.

so i chose the 200SX. (next best thing?)

1. is the 300 that bad on petrol compared to a 200SX?

2. heared that pistons need replacing frequently on a 300, this true?

3. any tips you have for me.

(PS if i get one it would have to be a TT manual)

thanks.....

Welcome. :)

Well 3.0 instead of 2.0 , and Twin Turbo's instead of one.

I average low 20's mpg. Mid-high 20's on a Long motorway run...but I dont want to think about what it uses in town and when in "playing" mode.

Nope, not at all.

3. any tips you have for me.

Check out the buyers guide, and by from an enthusiast

Excellet choice ! :)

...don't buy one. I like their exclusivity - we can't have them becoming popular, that won't do - I'd have to sell mine.
