swb and lwb decats are the same, megan racing ones are very good but a pita to fit, give dave at PHNW or luke at the ZCentre a call

yup....agree with yas....

Pain in the arse to fit as mine cost more to get fitted than the whole decat system cost from the U.S.

I had a dodgy set of Megans that were out of line but have now "reset" themselves in the correct position due to the heat so im pleased with them..

and their bLiNgY...lol

Very noticeable power increase

iv been warned about removing the cats due to the back presure holding the turbo seals in.... id like to do it myself but im a bit worried about a huuuuuuge bill for new turbo's 3 months later!! :smash: is this just wives tales or is it a big prob if you take them out?

It depends what state your seals are in, mate! Some people have no problem with oil getting past them without decatting, some get the dreaded blue stuff out the exhaust! Personally, I got the latter as soon as I'd had the job done! That was a couple of years ago, but I've kept a close eye on the oil level since then and will soon be heading for a tubby change!

It really is a gamble...

Be prepared :smash:

But I was lucky....got my tubbies still runnin 16psi and so sweeeeeeeet...

lol..till they go pop

MINE WAS THE SAME. AS SOON AS I DE-CATTED IT AND PUT STRAIGHT THROUGH PIPES ON IT STARTED WITH THE BLUE STUFF. I COMBATTED THIS BY TURNING THE TICKOVER UP TO 1200rpm. WHEN THAT WOULDNT WORK ANTMORE I JUST KEPT THE REVS UPTO 1500-2000rpm WHEN I WAS STOOD STILL, HEY PRESTO, NO SMOKE!!!!

BIT OF A PAIN AT TIMES BUT BETTER THAN DOING A JAMES BOND IMPRESSION EVERYTIME ITS ON TICKOVER.

humm... think i may just have to have a look at takeing them out.. but not yet.. still saving for my wedding! every time the misses looks at something im thinking "man i could get a 600bhp engine re-build for this much!!"... oh well.. maybe in a year or so!
