After picking my car up from Nissan this morning, I decided to have a look at the MAF unit, (which they reckon is faulty) and I noticed that one of the bolts that holds my Apexi filter to the MAF was missing, so it is possible that air could have been entering under the gasket.

Could this cause the car to run very poorly, or would it not make much difference?

Featured Replies

Doubt it, unless the air was able to bypass the AFM. More likely to have a faulty AFM.
