Hi mate, that would have been me! Are you the one who saw me scrape the bumper as i pulled up on the curb? Just as well im getting it resprayed next week! Ive only had it a week, it looks tidy from a distance but after nxt week itll b mint all round!

Sorry for delay, im getting it sprayed at Premier Car Body Repairs in Woolston. My dads a mechanic and its one of his mates, ive taken all my cars there over the years and its always a good job.

 

Where abouts are you based in Southampton? Did i read a thread saying your a mechanic and you're always under your Z? Just wondering cos it would be handy to be in touch with somebody who has experience of dealing with the mechanical side of a Z cos theyre not the simplest of engines!

I am based in regents Park! I used to be a Lorry Mechanic Then Car mechanic and eventually a panel beater then i gave it all up and now i drive for a living!

But i still work on my own motors and friend's and family's car's.

Im based near Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford. Wot colour zed do you drive then? I was driving round town yesterday and saw a navy blue L plate, another red 1 like mine and a black 1!

 

Im just going on holiday for a week but once I get back the paintwork sould all be done and I can then start getting it sorted mechanically! Few probs Ive noticed, possible boost leak and propshaft bearing, hoping it shouldnt be too serious to sort out!
