Schools are back today. This is exactly 1 year to the day that the tragic events in Russia filled our lives. It seems a bit surreal that most parents have been looking forward to this day for weeks (myself included).

 

I watched the news last night & it sent a shiver down my spine. They say its allways the innocent that get hurt. Well none more so than these.

 

It makes all our problems seem a bit trivial dont ya think.

the beslan incident is one of those events so terrible it (i'm afraid) gets pushed out of our minds because we dont know how to cope with it...uncomprehensible that there isnt more outrage or action being taken....esp when comparing this to things like Diana dying in a car crash or that guy getting shot on the tube
