Boost drop

Still noticing a slight drop in boost from just over 6 to dead on 5.....it always happens after the engine warms up and i've been driving for a while.

Can also hear some sort of woosh from the engine which does sound like air escaping but is this normal as it does it when i get full boost?

However done a consult on the ECU and comes up with code 55 so all is well?*&^%

did u run the Consult/ECU test, after the car had been driven and boost dropped without switching of ignition ?

If the fault only occurs once its warmed up and you try and go on full boost, then it may not show if you run the conzult after just switching on the ignition.

Symptons sound like a possible faulty det sensor (all is fine, till you try and go on boost, then it goes into safety mode. Switching of ignition resets it again)

Actually no i didn't i'll run the car then just switch the engine off with the ignition still on????

It can't be the det sensor as Ryan fitted a new one 6 months ago..............?
