SO where do you vote to hold it?

Can i just ask all you NE based members why your all being so selfish ? its supposed to be a meet in a centrally placed location for everyone from Scotland to Dover, traveling 5 miles down the road isnt getting into the spirit :mad:

 

I would like a central based meet too, of course it would be great for me if we had it in the Toon but I realise that people just wont come except for the locals. We cant please everyone but its only once a year so what harm is it to stick a few quid in the tank and do a few more miles. Nottingham looks around centralish to me. I think the NE members do generally have it the hardest everything is a massive haul for us JAE, Trax, Santa Pod etc etc and we always manage to give a good turn out.

Good points made Paul, 200 miles to Pod for myself so yes things are hard but that once a month/maybe every 2 months its worth that extra bit of effot isnt it. Centrally based to have a mad night as in JAE is the only way :duffer:

Look, why don't ya all get a group discount on the ferry, come to Waterford , have a nice Irish stew and a good bloody session(none of that alc. volume 4%) crap. Show off your Zeds to all the paddies then de-tox it all :hurl: on the ferry on the way home.....sorted. :D

To be honest if it was in Edinburgh I would fly up from Luton. if its in Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds. even Newcastle I will drive up. But like Paul said its only once a year and if members cant be bothered then its their problem. those of us who do turn up will have a ball anyway. wherever it is. So let me know when it is and I will book the time off irrespective of where.

NE wouldnt be a problem for me. A bit more unlikely the further south we go. I'll do me best though

When i was working in the edinburgh area I flew up and rented a ven up there. It cost me £40 on the plane and it took 55 minutes. all in all just over 3 hours door to door. I fookin love the 21st century.

the big question is

how many members are going to go to xmas party where ever it is held!

i'm up for a good laugh and a good nite, and will go no matter what venue/place.

Getting things back on track, after all it is only 12 weeks + away...

Looking at the map Chris posted, just below Manchester and above Birmingham seems to be the most central part of the UK. I guess that all members furthest North or South would drive no further that 3-3.5 hrs ?? and those furthest East or West would drive no further than say 2-2.5 hrs ??

The US guys just held their Zcon last week and members travelled for days to get to a dedicated Z meet :bow: , which is what this is. Here in the UK every show throughtout the year always involves loads of other clubs, it would be good to see at least a once yearly event where we ALL where possible meet up and get together for some socialising and discussions on Zeds.

Am just hoping it's either before the 11th Dec or after the 17th cos am of to Prague again for me 40th :duffer:
