Assuming you got and read the instructions ? 15min job mate and yep as said, soak in hot water to soften the new silicone, then you can simply slide them back and forth.

no no, please don't ever use this on new silicone when fitting hard pipes or what ever, same goes for WD40, it can take for ever for those fluids to fully evaporate and there is a risk of the silicone sleeves blowing straight down the pipe, hot water is ample that's why i have it typed on the instructions.

To clean the outside only of the silicone when dirty, spray some WD40 on a lint free cloth and wipe over the surface.

Gees, in the time it takes me to smoke a fag i can fit these :p

Any probs Martyn with any fittings, email me and i'll guide you through it :)

I bought a new bottle of Flora deep frying oil and boy does that make everything slip so easy, they slipped on easy than a whale's durex!!!

i couldn't find anything lying about so just tipped some o that watery stuff out of the black thing under the bonnet on the right with the big wires attached nips like h**l but the pipes glide on. Doesn't matter anyways as the pipes are under warrenty

I use Hairspray!!! Provides lube for about 1 min then it helps stick the pipes in place. Works a treat. Learned this trick when putting new handlebar grips on the Bike.

Another little tip when fitting Hard Pipes!

Do a boost leak check, using one of Vijays BLD's :D, just to make sure everything is airtight, it's good practice to do these on routine basis anyway!
